"FISHING" .

Under policy "you name it, we have it" we decided to push the fishing side of Trigger and Bait more than we have ever since we started!. The fishing program we will divide in two separate regions:

1) North East region: fly casting dorado (salminus maxilosus) of the salmonidae family, also called Tiger of the River. We offer a new lodge, Capitá Mini, in Corrientes province; located in the Iberá swamps (Esteros del Iberá). This location is a protected habitat, all fishing is catch and release (www.doradoadventure.com.ar).
This program consists of five nights, six days fishing. Cost is $1875 from September to May. Easy way to get there, on a bus / coach from Buenos Aires city to Mercedes, arrive early morning and drive a few miles to lodge, breakfast and next you are fishing!!. if you opt to fly to Corrientes city, you will have a 4 hour drive to lodge. We also have Estancia Los Laureles in Entre Ríos province for similar fishing. This fine lodge is on Paraná river. We also use this lodge in hunting season. Here you can combine dove shooting and fishing in the months of September, October, November till February!!

2) Southern region: Argentina's Patagonia region is world famous for the excellent fly casting trout fishing (Brown/Rainbow and Fontinalis). Many foreigners travel to this area, mid November to end of April to various locations. We will offer the area of Junín de los Andes / San Martín de los Andes / Quillén / Chimehuin river and "as we go along" ad different areas. The rivers and lakes in this area are famous for excellent fishing, to name some spots: Limay, Chimehuin, Aluminé, Curruhué, Malleo, Collo Curá and lakes Correntoso, Espejo, Tromen, Huechulafquen, Pimun, Quillen, etc. An excellent season is predicted taking into account the heavy snowfall registered over the Patagonian mountains, ensuing in good water levels in rivers and lakes.
