Hunting at Mataco Lodge; a very different program: www.matacolodge.com , run by Jorge O. Vázquez, a new lodge in northern town of Villa de Soto in Córdoba province. Shooting pigeon at water holes; feed lots or olive plantations.
The lodge is 120 miles north of Córdoba city. It is also three hour's away from La Rioja province state. We mention this as we can combine pigeon shooting at Mataco lodge and then move on to dove shooting in La Rioja.

Season: For pigeon is March 15 till September, the best months are May, June and July

Mixed Hunt: April to October.

Limit: Pigeon 150 to 200 at Mataco Lodge and 150 at Mixed Hunt. Dove: no limit.

COST:$ 1600 per hunter for a three day pigeon hunt.
$ 2400 per hunter for a mixed four days hunt.
EXTRAS: License in Córdoba is $ 65 per day. License in La Rioja is $ 30 per day. Pick-up boy $ 25 per day . Shells come to $ 10 per box.
